I Am Learning To Be A More Present And Better Listener 

I'm learning to listen more and talk less. I'm learning not to respond and rebut everything I hear. I'm allowing people to be right without trying to prove them wrong.

I'm allowing others to speak their truth even though I might not identify with the narrative. I'm learning to choose being happy instead of choosing to be right or to win an argument while hurting another person.

I'm learning to gracefully lose arguments as I allow others to win and enjoy the victory. I'm learning to enjoy people instead of tearing them apart. I'm learning to hear what people are saying without trying to dissect and dismantle it.

I'm learning more to be present during conversations instead of absent minded or overly focused on my phone. I'm learning to journey with other people through having wholesome and non-judgemental conversations and discussing. I'm learning how to turn fights into points of victory.
